Return & Credit Policy
At Natures Cargo, our approach to returns and credits is straightforward, prioritising customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to the following guidelines:
Point of Delivery Inspection: All products must be inspected at the time of delivery and signed for accordingly. Should you wish to return an item, please notify the NC driver at that time.
Returns Process: All returns initiated after delivery, must be communicated to a Natures Cargo Sales Representative within 24 hours, regardless of the reason – be it change of mind, damaged, faulty, or out-of-date stock. Returned products intended for credit will be collected by an NC driver on your subsequent delivery.
Fresh & 'Order In' Products: We don't accept change-of-mind returns on fresh or 'order in' items, as these are specifically ordered for you and not kept in stock. Fresh items are returnable only if damaged or due to quality issues.
 Conditions of Returns: Products being returned due to damage or quality concerns, please store until collected by an NC Driver during your next scheduled delivery. Ensure you have the invoice details available so the driver can issue a credit note. Returns due to a change-of-mind must be unopened and in resalable condition. Chilled items must be stored below 5ºC, and frozen items must be maintained at -18ºC or lower during the return process and until collected at your next NC delivery.
Short Delivery Credits: Please note that short delivery credits will not be accepted unless picked up at the time of delivery with a Natures Cargo driver.
Quality Issues Beyond 24 Hours: In cases where quality issues are not apparent within 24 hours of delivery, please contact your NC Sales Representative to determine if a return and credit are applicable.
We emphasise the importance of inspecting all stock at the point of delivery or as soon as possible thereafter. Please notify your NC Sales Representative within 24 hours of receiving goods if you wish to request a return.
